Gift Boxed Tilda!

This was made initially just for fun as i have this gift box cut on one of my Cricut cartridges and wanted to try it out but half way through the Totally Tilda challenge was posted and it was to use handmade flowers on a project. The flower i made from scratch by cutting out love hearts and curling the edges, cutting the bottoms off so the flower doesn't sit too far out and then attaching them one by one to create the finished flower. As most of you probably know i do this all the time and love the finished effect. I usually make them a lot smaller so i made this one a lot bigger and more open than my usual. I finished off with covering in Glossy Accents and then a sprinkle of Martha Stewart white glitter and a little gem in the middle. The leaves were cut from the Cricut Storybook Cartridge. The image is coloured using pro-markers. I ran the box through my Cuttlebug before assembling and added a blue liner to the inside.

Christmas Tilda.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday. Heres what i made today for the CES Challenge which is to make a Christmas Easel card. I have also played along with Just Magnolias Sketch for this week. Its a lovely sketch   to work with. The papers i used is DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas that i had left over from last year. I think i will buy some more this year cos some of the papers are great for girly xmas cards.
I coloured my Candy Cane Tilda using promarkers. I have embossed the circle and the bottom of the easel card using my cuttlebug and snowflake folder. The snowflakes are cut from my potpourri cartridge. This is one of my favourite cuts on this cartridge, just that bit different from my other snowflake dies is have.
The sentiment is from a pack of xmas sentiments that i bought a few weeks back. As usual i have added a few gems to finish off.
Again my picture quality aint that great, sorry!

Transport the Baby!!

Hi, Hope your having a lovely weekend. The weather here is not too bad, suns out bit the wind is quite cold.
Here a card i made last night for a few differerent challenges. The image is one of my fav from LOTV , she is just so cute! I am hoping that a pram passes as a form of transport for the I love Promarkers challenge and also the Crafty Creations challenge too. Its all doodlebug papers on this card and the border is one cut from my cricut Storybook Cartridge. I use this cart so much, would be lost without it to be honest! The flowers are hand made as usual and the leaf is again from my storybook cartridge. The colour scheme was to fit with the challenge at Flutterby Wednesday where they are looking for pink along side the usual butterfly, fairy or angel.     I have used a few gems to give to some bling!
I loved the layout of this card, this was from the Papertake Weekly Challenge.
I am a big ribbon fan so use it on most cards but i refrained this time for a change, i think the border works great instead. I added my old favourite Glossy Accents to little areas on the image and to the border, flowers and butterfly but it doesnt show up in the photo which is a shame cos she has got little glossy boots and bow!
Heres the link to the challenges i have played along with; - Transport - Hope my pram passes for this one! - Transport - My first entry to this challenge!

Thanks very much for looking at my card! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Sorry the picture aint that great!

Animal Crackers!

This is a card i made tonight for a few different challenges. The challenge at Creative Inspirations was to create a card thats anything other than a square or rectangle so i made this scalloped circle card. I cut the card base using my Cricut wild card cartridge as well as the 2 circle layers. The paper is from Bo Bunny. I really like pink and brown at the moment. The image of the rabbit is a LOTV stamp. It is meant to have a balloon in his hand but i just wanted the rabbit this time! The rabbit image fits with Pear Tree Designs challenge and also A Spoonful of Sugar challenge where animals is the theme for both. Passion for Promarkers challenge is "Sweet Treat" so the little cup cake is a perfect treat for that challenge! The flowers are punched and layered and finished with pearls. The challenge at CES is "Floral Frenzy" so the flowers and the floral paper fit with it great. This will be my first time entering at CES, its just a new challenge blog and looks great! I wanted to do something different with the ribbon on this card so i pleated it along the length of the card and put a bow at the side of the image and embellished with a couple of pins. I have also played along with the challenge over at Die Cut Dreams where they are looking for Pearls and Pins. I was going to add a sentiment to the card but i decided to leave it blank for now until i have a use for it!

Heres the links to the challenges i entered; - anything except square or rectangle!

Thanks for having a look and have a good night! (Well its now actually morning!)

Tilda in Lilac and Lace!

Just a quick post today to show my latest card that i have put together for some challenges. The challenge over at Totally Tilda is "Lilac and Lace" and the Just magnolia special monthly challenge is "Anything Goes".
I used my Jam Tilda stamp and coloured her with Promarkers. The paper is from Best Creation. This paper is lovely because it is very slightly embossed and full of glitter so i am playing along with the challenge at Craft Your Days Away which is "Girly n Glitter". I just cant resist a really girly card!  I embossed the circle with my cuttlebug folder and the swirls are cut from a sizzix die i have. The flowers i made myself from scratch. I love making them, then covering the petals in Glossy Accents and MS white glitter. The other challenge i am playing along with is Stamping B's. The theme is to use a charm so i used a little butterfly one.
The sentiment i used is just from ym stash, i think it may be a Forever Friends sentiment but not totally sure!
The lace, ribbon and gems are from my stash and just finish the card of nicely.

Heres the links to the challenge blogs i played along with today,

Thanks for looking and hope you had a great weekend!

Teddy Bears Picnic!!

This is my second post of the night as i have just finished this card. The sketch i used is from the Flutter By Wednesday challenge. You must also use either a butterfly, fairy or angel on the birthday card for it to count so i used a butterfly stamp i had in my stash. The challenge at Passion for Promarkers is "Teddy Bears Picnic" so i used this LOTV stamp and coloured it with promarkers. The papers are both from the Lush Collection from My Minds Eye. I just had to have them when i seen them! The ribbon is one i bought when i was on holiday from a lovely little farm shop that sold organic and home grown/made produce. The ribbon was expensive but worth it. The camera doesnt show it well.  I used used 3 pink brads which were the perfect colour for my papers and fits with the Party time Tuesday challenge which is a Birthday card with brads. I am going to also enter into the Paper Take Weekly Challenge. Their challenge this time is "Just The One" so i used one colour theme, Vintage Pink. I could also use just the one metal wire heart charm! The sentiment was just one i had in my stash from a pack of clear stamps.

There are a few other challenges i am entering into also so heres links to them all; - Material world (Used my lovely ribbon!) - Birthday card with Brads - Birthday with Sketch and butterfly. - Metal. (i used brads and a metal wire charm.)

Thanks for looking! Thats me off to bed, Good night...well its officially morning now!

One For The Guys!

Its been a week or so since my last card, well for on here anyway. I had a few orders for friends and family to get done. This happens to be one of them but i used the sketch for the Mojo Monday Challenge. The blue paper has been run through my cuttle bug with the swiss dots folder. The sentiment was cut from my Wild Card Cricut Cartridge and the "80" from the  Plantin Schoolbook. The charm is a tiny little trowel garden tool, you cant go wrong with something like that can you!! I added some silver card candy to finish it off. I am also entering the card into The Corrosive Challenge who are looking for "One for the Guys". I really find masculine cards hard to make so i tend to keep it very simple as you can see!!

Here are links to the two challenges i have entered;
