For You!

I sat down tonight to tidy up my craft table and drawers but ended getting ideas from looking at all my stash that i forgot i had!! This is a LOTV stamp.. just love that one. The papers are "once upon a dream" from Best Creation Inc. I used pro markers to colour the image and a mixture of the cuttlebug and cricut for the frames and flowers. As for my craft drawers....even worse!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #26
Here is my first try at any challenge! I have been reading the blog for a while and i find all the cards so inspiring.  My Sons teacher is leaving this week so he wanted a card to give her so i combined that with the challenge. I have used brads on the flowers and eyelets around the edge and to put the ribbon through. I used the Wild Card cartridge for the card base, circle layers and the phrase.  Plantin Schoolbook/Wild Card was used for the flowers. The pictures not great, the phrase is cut in white glittered cardstock.
Thanks for taking the time to look!

Fathers Day Card

Here is the fathers day card that i put together using the Wild Card Cartridge. I used Glossy Accents on the sentiment and sprinkled with black and a touch of clear glitter then added a little watering can charm too just to finish off.

I have had two baby cards to make this week, one boy and one girl! For the baby boy card I used a frame from the Storybook cart. The scallop edge is from fiskars border range then made a white felt nappy to add some texture. The girl one i used my nestabilities and again made a felt nappy and added some baby pink buttons. Simple but Cute!

Just a Note!

I made this card using the Wild Card Cartridge. Its a nice quick make for those last minute cards! I have also started one in blue/ black/white that will be good for fathers day or male birthdays. The wild card cart is great for all those quick makes but usually i tend to use all the elements separate and add to my own designs giving hundreds of options.

Wedding Stationary

I have not made any wedding stationary as yet but I have been trying out simple designs. Here is one of them. More on the drawing board!

Saturday, May 22

The flourish and flowers on this card was from Wild Card Cart and Plantin Schoolbook. I added the glossy accents to flowers and sprinkled MS clear glitter to add sparkle. The embossed layer is from the cuttlebug paisley embossing folder.

Communion Card

This is a card i was asked to make for a family member for her daughters communion and confirmation. I made the cross with the swirl border on the Cricut Story Book Cart. I used Glossy Accents then sprinkled with clear Martha Stewart glitter to the cross, name and date to add a bit of sparkle. Its much larger than the usual size of cards to make it that bit more special and more of a keepsake. Inside i added corner swirls and gems to finish it off.

Notebook and gift box - Cricut

These are my first projects, other than cards, that i have made. I bought a bare notebook form my local craft shop and used the Story Book Cartridge to decorate and personalise it. The paper i used is form Clare Curds "The Big One" paper pack. I used a white gel pen to do the faux stitching. The gift box was altered again with the Story Book Cart. Its now come in handy as a storage box for crafty bits and bobs! I can myself altering anything that sits still from now on!!
