The Best Day Ever....

Hi everyone, its Lynne here today! I hope your having a great week. Can you believe that we are nearing the end of August already...Christmas is coming fast!!
Today i have got the dreaded hospital appointment to discuss how and when they are going to get my Wisdom teeth out!! I am terrified of the dentist after a awful experience when i was little. Its a shame that we always remember the bad experiences over the good!

So, today i  have made a card using the gorgeous "Best Day Ever" digital stamp. She is soon to be retired so if you want this cutie you will have to get her very soon from the Funky Kits Store!

I used Promarkers and Polychromos Pencils to colour. The papers are Floral Pavilion from First Edition. The flower is a cuttlebug die paired with Marianne Design flourishes. The butterflies are Memory Box delightful Butterflies Die and i have used some lace, a little bow and added some gems. I have also used glossy accents with Glamour dust to add some sparkle.

Please feel free to pop over to the Sugar Nellie blog for daily inspiration and also there is a few days of the "Furry Friends" competition left...the prize is a Colouring Class from Kit and Clowder!! Check out details HERE!

Here are some challenges that i am going to enter my card into..

Craft-Dee Bowz - Anything Goes with a handmade bow
Love to Scrap - Anything Goes
Fairytale Stampers - Anything Goes
Glitter and Sparkle - Use butterflies

Thanks very much for stopping by!

Fairy Dust...

 Good Morning everyone!
Yahoo...the schools are back!! lol! Well in Soctland anyway!! My youngest, Carrie, is starting P6 this year and Sean is in 4th year. My eldest, Ryan, is starting college next week so has another week to relax! They are all growing up too fast!!
Anyway, As you read this i will have already put my two out the door and will be away to see my gorgeous Neice, Ava, as she starts her first day of school.

So, I decided to use one of the gorgeous Scrapberry Stamps today. This one is called Fairy Birthday
You can buy her from the Funky Kits Store!

I have coloured my fairy using Promarkers and Polychromos Pencils. My papres are My Minds Eye, Lost and Found. I used my Tim Holtz Rosettes Die adding a little Marianne Design Flourish.
I added a few buttons with twine, lace, ribbon and some little pearls to finish my card.

Another quick reminder about the "Furry Friends" competition that is running through-out this month over on the Sugar Nellie Blog. Check out the "Competition Tab" HERE!
The prize is a colouring class from Kit and Clowder!

Mark that page....

Good Morning!
Hope you all had a fab weekend! We have had terrible rain here the last few days so hopefully this week will bring some dry and warm weather!

Today is my turn to share on the Sugar Nellie Blog and as i have been reading a lot of books lately i decided to make a little magnetic bookmark for myself.  There are magnets inside so that the bookmark wont slide out my book when moving it around!

I have used "Words from the Heart" Furry Friends Digital Stamp.
You can buy him from the Funky Kits Store along with all his little furry Friends!

I have coloured this cutie with Promarkers and Polychromos Pencils. The paper is one from "Be Mine" from Echo Park backed onto Black card stock. I then used a little black ribbon to dangle down the outside of my book when closed.
The magnets are inside. (See picture below)

This is the magnets inside that will stop your bookmark falling out your book when moved around!

Remember that the competition is still running through-out this month over on the Sugar Nellie Blog HERE!
The prize is a colouring class from Kit and Clowder!!

Thanks for stopping by and as always i appreciate all the lovely comments you leave for me!
