Lets Hear it for the Boys! Elphine House Australia Challenge!

Hi! Hope your all having a great night so far. In my house right noe the boys are watching the football and i am up stairs watching the Brits Awards with Carrie, although she has lost interest already and only looked up  a few minutes ago to watch One Direction!
I have had a day of computer troubles. I few months back my Laptop died so now using a spare Netbook we had but i must have used up all the memory and today everytime i opened a page it crashed then once i worked it out the disk clean up etc took forever!!

Anyway onto business! Today is the start of the latest challenge from Elphine House Australia!
The challenge is "Lets Hear it for the Boys"

You can join us if you use any Elisabeth Bell image (from any company) on your creation and follow our theme! If you use a Elphine House Australia Stamp the prize is 2 EHA stamps of your choice and if its any other EB image then EHA will send you one stamp which will be chosen by EHA.

Now if you are regular visitors you will have noticed that i am not a masculine card fan. I love flowers, ribbons and pretty charms too much but to be honest this turned out better than i thought and hope it does justice to this gorgeous stamp.

What a week!

Hi! Well what a week i have had! Firstly the most exciting news...my Sister had  a baby girl on the 8th!  She is gorgeous.  Her name is Sophia and her weight was 6lb14oz. She is a little doll! The picture below is off my daughter, Carrie, feeling very proud of her baby cousin on the day she got home from hospital. My sisters other little girl, Ava who is 3, is so proud of her little Sister and is already very protective of her.

The next bit of new is that we are moving house! we moving in 13 days! The house is in the same street but is a lot more suitable for us. The kids are so excited. David has been packing lots of things that we dont use all the time. I am tired watching him! I dont know where to start packing up my craft stuff. My stash has grew bigger and bigger over the past few years. We will need a van just for this alone!!

Anyway, i have another engagement card that i was asked to make for someone.
I have used my neglected magnolia stamp. I love this colour at them moment. feels so fresh and light.

Elphine House Australia Challenge - Hearts and Ribbons!

Hello! Well here i am at last. I have been trying to finish this post since yesterday. Tried to get some spring cleaning done yesterday but didnt get far without feeling drained and shattered. When my blood count is down i cant do much without getting shaky and bit breathless. Felt like i had ran a marathon and had only tidied some of Carries room! Anyway i did try and then had to chill out rest of the day! I also had Carrie off school the day before with a headache and sickness. I wondered if it was a migraine she had as she said she couldnt see properly and was crying with the head ache. Like i have said before, there is always a drama in our house!

So anyway i am here with my DT for the latest Elphine House Australia challenge. The challenge this fortnight is to use
"Hearts and Ribbons"

To enter our challenge you must use a Elisabeth Bell stamp. This can be from any of the companies she has designed for such as Belles n Whistles, Sweet Pea, Whimsy etc but if you have a EHA stamp we would love to see what you have made with them.

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Love and Marriage!

Hi , I hope you are having a good weekend.  I have had a lazy day yesterday and didnt get round to doing. The day just flew past and before i knew it the day was gone! I am going to have a crafty day today (well thats the plan!) I have been working on a Inspiration Journal which has been good fun creating. I will show some pictures once i get some more pages done.

Anyway i am here with my DT card for the Craft Calendar Challenge.
This month the theme is ..
"Love and Marriage"

I had someone order a engagement card last week so i decided to use this for the challenge. Last week i tided up my all my stamps and put them into some kind of order again and cleaned them all up properly so i came across stamps that i have not used for so long.  This LOTV stamp was a favourite of mine when it was released but it had sadly been neglected so thought it would be good for this card.
Here it is...

Card Recipe
Image - LOTV Together Forever (well think that's the name!)
Papers - Echo Park "Be Mine"
Dies/punches - Spellbinders Beaded Oval, Sizzixs circle dies, Memory Box Butterfly, Marianne Design Flourishes
Textile Cuttlebug Embossing folder
Embellishments - Wild Orchid Craft Flowers, Tulle, Gems and Charm from stash.

Here is another couple of views of my card..

I would like to enter this into the following challenges -
My Time To Craft - Love is in the Air!
Sweet Stampin Challenge - Love is all Around
One Stop Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
