Elphine House Australia..Charms and Pins!

Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is well! I know its 11pm here in Uk but down under its 9 am!....and tonight starts the new Elphine House Challenge!

The theme is a favourite of mine.....
Charms and Pins!

Here is my card...i have used the little cutie called "Laura'sYummy Pudding"

I have coloured my image using Promarkers and Polychromo pencils...i am loving these and my collection is getting bigger by the day..i just buy a few at a time, each time i am in my local craft store.

After i made this card my Silhouette machine decided it wont cut! I am starting to worry as i had a new blade  and tried it but its still not working. Time to contact the company where i bought it....its only a few months old. Just frustrating.

Well i hope you can pop by to check out the other girls creations over at the challenge blog.
Well thats me off to get organised for bed! Had a busy day at doctors and got new meds to try!
Have a great day if  its morning where you are or in the UK have a great sleep!

So here is my new card...which has been approved by Carrie! lol!

She is coloured with Promarkers and Polychromos.

Elphine House Australia - Distressed in Stitches!

Hi, Well as promised earlier here i am with my second post of the day!

Here are the details of the latest challenge that up and running over at Elphine House Australia.
The theme this time is...

Distressed in Stitches!
Add some distressing and stitching..faux or real!

Here is my card... I am not huge on heavy distressing but i do like to lightly file/ink edges so thats what i have done here and used DP's that have the distressed look. I decided to colour my image in Sepia tones using my Promarkers. I have had to do faux stitching as my sewing machine is not working. The bobbin keeps getting jammed. Tried everything to sort it but totally stuck!

Okay onto my card...
The image i have used is one of my favourite at the moment.
She is called "Emmas Gift of Love"
To join in the challenge you have to use a Elisabeth Bell stamp from any company. There are lots of Elisabeth Bell images out there so let us see your creations!

Here is what products i used..
Papers - My Minds Eye, Kraft Cardstock
Dies/punches  - Spellbinders Oval and Beaded Oval, Label 1 for insert, Marianne flourish dies and the brackets from Cricut Potpourri Cartridge and x cut border die.
Embellishments - Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I stitched and gathered the ribbon which is from Hobbycraft as well as the pearls.

I am going to join in with the following challenges ...

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please pop over to Elphine House Australia challenge blog to see the DT girls inspiration and join in the fun. You never know you might be a winner of some Elphine House Australia stamps.

Anyway i am here with my DT card for Elphine House Australia's Challenge which starts today and also a little special story about the stamp i used today.
The challenge theme is ...PEARLS AND LACE!

The winner of the challenge will win 2 Elphine House Australia stamps. If you have not been to the store yet you must hop on over to have a look, they are all gorgeous..as all Elisabeth Bell images are!!

On my card today i have used a very special stamp! This stamp was originally from the "Daisy Collection" by Elisabeth Bell and as we know EHA are bring us some of these stamps back. Well this stamp has made its way back but with a new name..She is called "Carrie on Trike"...
Helen and Lew, who own EHA, are the most lovely, generous couple ever and they have made one little girl a very happy....by re-naming this stamp after my daughter Carrie! This is the second stamp to be named after her.
The first one is is "Carrie Swan Princess" which you can see here. Carrie has Auto immune Liver Disease and had been unwell over Christmas so you can just imagine her little face when she received her very own stamp from the postman!!
She is so proud of her stamps and love being "a little bit famous"!! I found her the other day on google looking up the name of the stamps to see if there were any cards made using her stamps online!
Here she is with her two "Carrie" stamps!!

I want to say a great big "Thank You" to Helen and Lew, our DT's Mamma and Papa Bear,  for making Carrie feel so special and also for being so understanding and caring while i have been ill. It really means a lot to us!

Her is my card card recipe
