Hugs and Kisses!!

Good Morning, Friday again! Well yesterday i had my hospital app at the day unit and my consultant has decided to step my steroids down a tiny bit as my side effects and the secondary problems the high dose is causing are just getting worse and worse! Not sure i will see much of a difference at the moment but its a step in the right direction. I just hope my blood count can hold up as the steroids are reduced. I am totally exhausted and fed with no sleep and constant muscle cramps and everything else that it throws at me! As for the high and lows of emotions from the steroids.....even the kids know when its time to run and hide!!

I have been putting this card together for a few days..yes days!! I think this is the longest time to create one card!
I used my favourite Belles 'n Whistles stamp called "Beary Big Hugs" which i coloured using my distress inks.

Embellishments - Ribbon, lace, pearls and charm, which i put together myself, are all odds and ends that are lying around among my stash!
Sentiment - Tiddly Inks - Wryn's Extras and Sentiments

I woulds like to enter my card into the following challenges.

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Valentines
Fairy Tale Challenge - Love Love Love....
Fussy and Fancy Challenge - With All my Heart!

Thats all for now! I am off to try and catch a hour sleep as i have the hospital tomorrow and will be falling asleep during my appoinment. The day care area i go to is so relaxing so falling asleep wouldn't be hard as the chairs are reclining and i am there quite a while as i have to have blood taken and wait for it to come back from the labs to determine the next steps in my treatment and change in medication. Fingers crossed that things are stable tomorrow...My water retention has improved over the last 24 hours so really pleased about that.
Thanks for popping by and taking time to look around!

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Love and Marriage!

Hi, Well its been a while since i posted. Before i go onto the challenge details i just want to say thank you for the lovely emails i have received wishing me well and a quick recovery!
I was in hospital again for another week this time. I was climbing the walls but we seem to have my blood count heading in the right direction and stable. The down side is that the very treatment that is keeping everything settled is causing so many other problems. I cant win! I have to attend the Day Care Unit twice weekly for the time being for blood test and a review by my Consultant. The care i have been given so far is just first class. The nurses that work on the ward i was on just never stopped and nothing was too much trouble. They deserve double the salary, that for sure!

Over at Crafty Calendar we have just kicked off the next challenge. The theme is..
Love and Marriage with the OPTIONAL EXTRA of Lace and Pearls!

This month we have a brand new sponsor for you....the very talented Heather Ellis

The winner will win 3 images of your choice from Heather Ellis's Etsy store or Website

Here is my card using one of Heather Ellis's Pure Innocence Digital Stamps
