Elisabeth Bells World Challenge!!!


 Hello! Can you believe its the weekend again...that was one fast week!

Today is the start of the latest Elisabeth Bells World Challenge!!

The theme is...White on White + a Little Red!

We had some beautiful entries last month but there were only a handful...where has all those Elisabeth Bell fans gone!? If you have ANY Elisabeth Bell stamp then come join us!

I have made a little tag and holder which fits gift vounchers etc in. I have used "Apple Thyme" from the Simpler Times Collection.

Dies - Spellbinders Scallop and Classic Circles, Marianne Design Swirls, Silhouette Store for the Heart Tag.
Embellishments - Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft, Lace, Ribbon, Gem, Charm and Paper String from Hobbycraft.
Essensials Glue Pad and Glamour Dust Glitter.

A Sweet Surprise!!


Hello! As promised here i am back for second post of the day to show you my card i made for The Digi Bells Blog!

After my card for a boy i had to get back to my girly cards so i decided to use "Sweet Surprise". You can find this cutie at Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection! The papers i used were just screaming at me from my stash as they are also called "Sweetness"!!


Materials Used
Image coloured with Promarkers.
Papers - Sweetness from Authentique
Dies - Spellbinders Scallop and Classic Circles. Memeory Box Vivenne Butterfly and the Tabs that are in the tags in the pocket are Decorative Tabs from the Silhouette Store.
Embellishments - Flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft, Ribbon and Trim from Hobbycraft. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Glitter on the butterfly and tab edges.

A Unusual Event....A Card for a Boy!!!


Hi, I hope you are all having a great week! I cannot believe we are nearing the end of January...where did the weeks go to!
Once again we have a bug getting past around from kid to kid and not missing out me...they must be attracted to this house! 

Anyway today is the new I ♥ Promarkers challenge
The theme is ....One for the Boys!!

The Sponsor for this challenge is Visable Image! 

As you will know a masculine card around my blog is very rare but, wait for it, i actually enjoyed making this one!! This image is "Sailing"  from the Simpler Times Collection from Katy Sue Designs...illustrated by the amazing Elisabeth Bell!! 

Promarkers Used - I wanted a softer look for this card so was having a play around with colours...

Skin - Blush, Dusky Pink, and Almond and touch of Soft Peach
Hair - Sandstone and Caramel with Blender
Blue Clothing - Pastel blue with small amount of Demin Blue and Blender
Jumper - Pastel Beige, Khaki and blender
Water - Pastel Blue and Touches of Duck Egg with blender
Stones - Pastel Beige, Khaki and Warm Grey with Blender - Satin around blottom for the sand

Hot Stuff @ I ♥ Promarkers


Good Morning, Hope your all well! Today i have my Haematology Clinic to get my blood count checked. This will be the first blood test after my Transfusion. Fingers Crossed!

Today is the start of the new challenge at  I ♥ Promarkers!
The theme is "Hot Colours"

I decided to go with hot pink...who doesn't love a pink card! I have used a cute Elisabeth Bell image from the Simpler Times CD Rom from Katy Sue Designs. She is called "Apple Picking!"


Here is a list of the Promarkers i have used. I have been playing around with blending different colours that i dont usually use so this is just my preference. Everyone has their own favourite colour combos.

Skin - Tan, Sunkissed Pink, Blush, Baby Pink for cheeks and Almond to blend.
Hair - Burnt Sienna, Caramel, Sandstone, touches of Shale and Satin to blend.
Pink Clothing - Pale Pink, Baby Pink, Cocktail Pink, Dusky Rose and Almond
Beige Top - Pastel Beige & Khaki
Barrell - Tan, Sandstone and Satin
Apples, Grass & Leaves - Antique Pink (red apples), Apple Cider and Apple.

Layer It Up @ Elphine House Australia!


Hi! I hope you are well and having a good week so far! I have spent the weekend decorating the livingroom...well i should say watching David decorate the livingroom! I chose the carpet and furnature and David put it all together. Looks great. 

Tonight is the start of the new Elphine House Australia Challenge. This year the challenges will start on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and you must use a Elisabeth Bell stamp. This can be from any of the company's that Elisabeth has designed for but we would love to see those EHA stamps if you have any!

This month our challenge is ....Lots of Layers!

This was a easy one for me since i love layers! I honestly dont think i have made a single layered card!
This stamp is the popular "Daisy Sitting in Lily Garden"


Materials 
Daisy Stamp coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
Papers - Teresa Collins Stationary Noted
Dies - Wind Flourish, Butterfly Flourish Border, 3D Flower (cone base), Fern leaf all from Silhouette Online Store. Spellbinders scalloped and classsic circle, Morrocan accent doily and Memory Box Butterfly Delights.
Embellishments - White Satin Ribbon from Country Baskets. Lace, Gems (large and small) from Hobbycraft and as usual edges glued up and dipped edges of some of the die cuts in Glamour Dust.

I ♥ Promarkers - Add a Bow!!


Hi, Hope your having a lovely day! It was a cold day in Scotland today....the wind was like ice. The kids are waiting on the snow coming but each time its forecast we never get any! I am not so keen on the snow...i love to look at it but hate going out in it!!

Anyway i am here with my post for this weeks I ♥ Promarkers challenge!
Our theme this week is...
Add a Bow!

A easy one for me...cant think of a card that i havent had a bow on lately! Our Sponsors are Polka Doodles and StitchyBear's Stamps! We were kindly offered a digi to work with from the StitchyBear Digi Outlet. I have chosen to use "Sewing Mends the Soul". I think he is one cute bear!


Materials
Image coloured with Promarkers
Papers - Tilda Country Escape - Stitched with my Machine
Dies - Button Tag, Body Form, Flowers and Leaves are all bought from the Silhouette Store and cut with my Portrait.
Embellishments - Lace, Ribbon, Pearls and Buttons from Hobbycraft. The edges of the die cuts have had the edges embossed with clear embossing powder and sprinkled with Glamour Dust  while the embossing powder was still sticky. I als used the Glue Pad with Glamour dust on the flowers slightly.

Thats me for now! The house is upside down today as we are getting carpets fitted in the morning. How can emptying one room can cause the whole house to be a mess! It will be worth it!

The Birth of a Fairy!


Hi! Hope your having a nice day. I have had Carrie of school again today.
This is only the second day back and she has caught another bug! I am going to send her with a sugical mask on from now on..lol! 

My card today is a open book style card. I have never made one of these before and i love how it turned out. The digi stamp i have used is called Fairy Merrily from Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection.

The verse on the card reads..
"When the first baby laughed for the very first time,
The laugh broke up into a thousand pieces and the all went skipping about,
and that was the beginning of fairies."

Lets Celebrate!!


 Hello! Hope your enjoying your weekend so far! 
We have had a busy day taking down the tree and decorations...the house looks so bare!
I want to say Hello to the new followers...i really appreciate you stopping by. I will be over to visit your blogs soon!! 

So i am here with my card for the new Crafty Calendar Challenge which started today.

The theme this month is "Lets Celebrate" and our sponsor is Whiff of Joy who as generously giving our winner a character stamp of their choice from the store!

I have made a card and candle set. This was actually a card a family friend asked me to make and as i was making it realised it was perfect for this month challenge.

 My card is using Rowan Berry from Wee Stamps. I just think she is so adorable!


Materials

Papers - Lillibet, A Tale of Friendship and Acetate (for candle box)
Dies - Sizzix Thinlets Doily and Doily Border, Spellbinders Labels 1, Marianne Design Flourishes. Tonic Studio Butterfly Strip.
Embellishments - Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft. Lace, Tulle, Ribbon and Gems from Hobbycraft.
I made the decorative pin myself using beads and findings also from Hobbycraft. The feathers is from Country Baskets.
For the stamping the candle i used Memento Black Ink as well as a computer printed sentiment, Tissue Paper and Greese proof paper.

Happy New Year! Lets Frame it...♥


Hi everyone... Happy New Year!! I hope this year is a great one for you all. 
We had a quiet night with the kids and had our own little party which was lovely. 

So today is the start of the new I ♥ Promarkers Challenge. 
This week the theme is...Frame It!! 
I bet you have got lots of great dies that would frame your images or you could frame the entire card...its up to you..just as long as you use ProMarkers, FlexMarkers, AquaMarkers or Trias.

Here is my card using Magnolia Sweet Princess stamp.
