Hugs and Kisses!!

Good Morning, Friday again! Well yesterday i had my hospital app at the day unit and my consultant has decided to step my steroids down a tiny bit as my side effects and the secondary problems the high dose is causing are just getting worse and worse! Not sure i will see much of a difference at the moment but its a step in the right direction. I just hope my blood count can hold up as the steroids are reduced. I am totally exhausted and fed with no sleep and constant muscle cramps and everything else that it throws at me! As for the high and lows of emotions from the steroids.....even the kids know when its time to run and hide!!

I have been putting this card together for a few days..yes days!! I think this is the longest time to create one card!
I used my favourite Belles 'n Whistles stamp called "Beary Big Hugs" which i coloured using my distress inks.

Easel Card Recipe

Image - Beary Big Hug, Belles'n Whistles
Paper/Card - Papermania Capsule Collection (pinks), Tim Holtz Core-dinations, White Cardstock
Dies/Punches - Cheery Lynn's Designs - Fanciful Flourish & Cricut Wild Card Cartridge for the Hearts
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Embellishments - Lace, Ribbon, Heart Charm, Gems etc all from my stash.
Sentiments - Personal Impressions.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges!

Belles 'n Whistles Challenge - Love and Hearts!
Elisabeth Bell World Challenges - Hearts, Hearts, Hearts!
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything Goes!!
Crafty Creations -Warm and Cuddly Teddies!

That it from me just now. I am going try and get some crafting time in today. I find the colouring my images, whether with distress inks or my Promarkers, so relaxing...Just what the doctor ordered!! Any excuse for some crafting time!
Thank You very much for taking the time to pop by.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Easel card!

Had a sleepless night as usual so was up making this card at 2am. I seem to be much more creative at that time of night! I also love the quietness..kids sleeping..just bliss!
I love making easel cards, so simple but look great! I have also stuck to my favourite colours! I am entering the card into The Stamp Man challenge as the new challenge is easel cards. My image is from LOTV, one of my favourites and coloured with promarkers. I have embossed one of the layers under the image using my cuttlebug and floral folder, this fits with the challenge at "Our Creative corner".  I have used Acetate and made them stand out more by coating with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with MS Glitter and finished of with Pearls. The I love Promarkers challenge is Acetate so i am hoping the flowers will be enough to count! I really dont remember using acetate on cards since last Christmas, The DT cards over at I love Promarkers were amazing, gave me lots of ideas for next time! The challenges over at Flutter By Wednesday and Party Time Tuesday  is "Anything Goes".
Heres the list of Challenges and links to them;

Well Thanks for looking and i hope you enjoy the rest of the day. For me its a afternoon tackling the ironing pile! Not my Idea of fun, would rather me at my craft desk making cards!

Another easel card! (cricut)

Well the last few days have been so busy. I have been shopping for all the rest of our holiday bits and pieces. I did of course have to add to my stash while at the shops and have also had to buy more and more storage boxes for it all..not sure where its all came from!
This card is one i was asked to make for someone. I have used my wild card cartridge for the sentiment, storybook and my nesties for the scallop circle and marquee shape. The square panel behind is embossed using the cuttlebug swiss dots folder.  I made the flowers using my plantin schoolbook and border was cut using my fiskers threading scallop punch. The swrils are a sizzix die i found in my drawer of tricks!I used some lovely pearls and ribbon and a butterfly charm from my stash to finish it off and of course my old faithful Glossy Accents to bling bits of it up! I really like making easel cards at the moment...good for quick makes and something different!
I have a few fathers day cards to make and a male birthday card on order for friends so will need to get these made tomorrow then i will get back into doing some challenges!

Have a good day!
