What a week!

 Hi! Well what a week i have had! Firstly the most exciting news...my Sister had  a baby girl on the 8th!  She is gorgeous.  Her name is Sophia and her weight was 6lb14oz. She is a little doll! The picture below is off my daughter, Carrie, feeling very proud of her baby cousin on the day she got home from hospital. My sisters other little girl, Ava who is 3, is so proud of her little Sister and is already very protective of her.

The next bit of new is that we are moving house! we moving in 13 days! The house is in the same street but is a lot more suitable for us. The kids are so excited. David has been packing lots of things that we dont use all the time. I am tired watching him! I dont know where to start packing up my craft stuff. My stash has grew bigger and bigger over the past few years. We will need a van just for this alone!!

Anyway, i have another engagement card that i was asked to make for someone.
I have used my neglected magnolia stamp. I love this colour at them moment. feels so fresh and light.
Here is my card...

Pink and Girly!

Hi, Well i am so glad to be here with a card...its been over a week since my last posting and since then i have had a bit of a rotten week. I seem to get 2 steps forward with my health and 1 back. As well as the Auto immune blood issue my Kidney disease has been playing up then just to put the cherry on the cake my laptop crashed and is totally gone..died! I hadnt backed up the laptop in past 10 months so all my Digi stamps, photos, Sponsor badges for the CCC blog, My Memories files and all my blog designs...the list goes on and they are all gone! I could cry everytime i think about it. We have a friend who is amazing with computers but he has been working hard this week so will catch him next week and see if he can save anything at all from it. If any of you have any ideas how to retrieve any of it please let me know!!!

Anyway here i am on one of our netbooks. Its strange because its so small but works all the same.
I decided to have a break from Christmas cards and make a pink girly card.
I keep leaving my poor Cricut Expression out of the action and i do have some good cartridges so i dusted of the cobwebs and got cuttting. The decorative frame in my card is from the Potpourri cartridge which i quite like.
.

 Card Recipe

Papers - All leftover bits from my stash..clearing out!!
Dies - Cricut Potpourri cartridge, Spellbinders Beaded Oval, Marianne Design Tag.

I am going to enter into the following challenges.

Xmas Bling!

What a miserable, wet and dark day. The perfect day for crafting!! Heres my card that i made for a few challenges. The colour scheme was meant to be for the Totally Tilda challenge but i never got it finished yesterday morning so i was too late with it! Just my luck. Fortunately the Totally Gorjuss challenge this week was Non Traditional Christmas colours so my favourite icy blue scheme goes well. The Paper Cutz challenge is Christmas with Bling so i used new gems that i got that are just plain but shiny silver. I really love them, just that bit different to the gems i use all the time. The photo doesnt show them off that well. I have also played along with the Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club which is anything Goes this week.
I know this image is not a Xmas stamp but i thought it fits well and i coloured her with Promarkers. The snowflakes are from my Cricut Christmas Solutions cartridge.

Heres the links to the challenges i have entered;

As always thanks for looking at my cards and leaving such lovely comments.

Pink Tilda!

This is my card that i made for the Just Magnolia challenge which is a sketch by Dawny. I love her sketches, just right up my street and a dream to work with! The pink paper i used is a cut off from a paper that i had in my stash and the spotted one was i got in the sale at Hobbycraft for 25p, it has nothing on to say who is from. The image was coloured by promarkers. The square is embossed with the swirls folder using my cuttlebug. The ribbons, flowers, pins and pearls are from my stash and the sentiment is a Forever Friends stamp.
The other challenges i am playing along with are the Totally Gorjuss Challenge and Our Creative corner challenge. The challenge at Our creative Corner was to use as many embellishments as you can. I used lots of pearls, 2 pins, lots of ribbon and flowers. I hope this is plenty!

Heres are the links to the three challenge blogs i have entered;

Seeing Double!

This is just a quick post to my card for a few challenges that are about this week. The first challenge i am playing along with is the Just Magnolia Challenge. The challenge over there is 2x2 (2 of everything!) As you can see i have used 2 flowers and leafs twice, 2 sets of 2 gems, 2 DP's, and 2 charms. The charms are recycled from older cards that i have not given to anyone! It was harder than i thought using 2 of everything! The papers are from Bo Bunny and are scraps pieces that i had left over from other cards i made. I also used scrap cardstock from my scrap box that sits at my feet as i craft away. The Passion for Promarkers challenge is Recycled so i hope that all my scraps and old charms count! The colour theme of pink is fitting with two other challenges, I love Promarkers and Lets Craft and create. The image is coloured with Promarkers and the image of Tilda is fitting with the challenge over at Crafty Catz. The sentiment was cut from my Cricut Wild Card Cart and i sparkled it up a bit with glossy accents and glitter. I have also entered the card into the challenge at Craftalicious as the challenge is "Anything Goes".

This is the list of links to the Challenge blogs that i have played along with today;

Sparkling Tilda!

 Hi, Its good to be back online! I was on holiday for a long weekend and when i got back my internet was down, anyway sorted now and can now get stuck into some of the great challenges that are about this week.
For this card i used a layout i used before for a challenge and loves it, so simple! The colour theme matched 2 different challenges, Stampin Bs and Fab n funky. I am not a fan of black white and red but i actually think it has turned out ok! The image of Tilda is coloured with promarkers and i have used glossy accents and glamour dust to sparkle her outfit up. The swirls were from a sizzix die i have had for ages, it actually is a flower with a swirl stem but i have cut off the flowers head and jut used the swirls. Again i have used glossy accents and glamour dust to sparkle. I added some pearls to the swirls.
As you can see from the picture below i have made the top layer so it opens up to show the hidden a tag inside. I used a brad to hold it shut by just catching the edge of the card stock under the side of the brad.

Here is the link to the challenges i have played along with this week.

Gift Boxed Tilda!

This was made initially just for fun as i have this gift box cut on one of my Cricut cartridges and wanted to try it out but half way through the Totally Tilda challenge was posted and it was to use handmade flowers on a project. The flower i made from scratch by cutting out love hearts and curling the edges, cutting the bottoms off so the flower doesn't sit too far out and then attaching them one by one to create the finished flower. As most of you probably know i do this all the time and love the finished effect. I usually make them a lot smaller so i made this one a lot bigger and more open than my usual. I finished off with covering in Glossy Accents and then a sprinkle of Martha Stewart white glitter and a little gem in the middle. The leaves were cut from the Cricut Storybook Cartridge. The image is coloured using pro-markers. I ran the box through my Cuttlebug before assembling and added a blue liner to the inside.

Christmas Tilda.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday. Heres what i made today for the CES Challenge which is to make a Christmas Easel card. I have also played along with Just Magnolias Sketch for this week. Its a lovely sketch   to work with. The papers i used is DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas that i had left over from last year. I think i will buy some more this year cos some of the papers are great for girly xmas cards.
 I coloured my Candy Cane Tilda using promarkers. I have embossed the circle and the bottom of the easel card using my cuttlebug and snowflake folder. The snowflakes are cut from my potpourri cartridge. This is one of my favourite cuts on this cartridge, just that bit different from my other snowflake dies is have.
The sentiment is from a pack of xmas sentiments that i bought a few weeks back. As usual i have added a few gems to finish off.
Again my picture quality aint that great, sorry!
Heres the link to the challenges i have entered today.

Stitched up!!

Here is the latest creation! I have seen lots of these on a many blogs and i just love them. As i was half way through the stitching i checked the Totally Tilda blog and the new challenge is "Stitching". Maybe it was crafters intuition...but lets face it, it was probably just a bit of luck!

The paper i have used has a story behind it, its actually wallpaper! ssshh...I couldnt resist taking a sample when i seen it on the shelf in our local DIY store! I read a long time ago about a crafter who always collects wallpapers and pain charts etc to use on her cards but i wasnt really sure if the wallpaper would do the job! Well it certainly did! It was really expensive designer stuff, £49.99 a roll so it was really thick and the flocking is lovely. The picture doesnt do it justice! I only took a little bit so thats it used!
The flower is one i made myself. I cut hearts out on my Cricut and curled the edges over and arranged one overlapping the next. Turned out great. I covered the flower in Glossy accents and some MS glitter to give it the "wet" look.
The swirls are cut from my cricut story book cartridge onto silver paper. The stitching is also silver thread, again the photo doesnt show it up well.

My Tilda image is coloured in with promarkers. I used all my "Cool Grey" shades to give it a black and white effect. That is my first try of that so could have been better! I added a few gems to add some bling!
The challenge at Creative Card Crew is "Sparkle and Shine" so i have entered into that with my shiny flower and sparkling gems!

Another Round One!

Hi There,
Well that me back from my latest travels in the caravan. Had such a relaxing time, we didnt want to come home. In fact we had such a lovely time and the site so was nice we booked for the long weekend in September.
Here is another card which i will enter into a few challenges. For the Totally Tilda Challenge the theme is "shaped cards" so i used the Scallop circle card which i cut on my Cricut and this time i cut my Tilda out and coloured with Promarkers. The paper i used is Bo Bunny. I decided to thread my ribbon and ruffled it for a wee change. I used Buttons and a bow to fit with Crafty Catz challenge. I used the word from the Aud Sentiments Challenge which is "relax" for the sentiment. I am also going to enter the card into the Creative Card Crew challenge as their theme is "Cute and Girly". I think this card fits the bill, nothing more girly than pink and bling! To add the bling i used my clear gems. The flower is cut with my Cuttlebug die and machine and the swirls from my Cricut Story book cartridge.
Hope the cards fits with all the challenges i have entered it into!

Mojo is back!!

Hi, Well been busy today..no, not housework .. Just crafting! I decided to enter a few challenges with one card again. As much as Chocolate brown is just not my favourite colour,  it worked out better than i thought it would!! The Chocolate colour theme and Tilda stamp was for the Totally Tilda challenge. The sketch i followed is from Papertake Weekly challenge, like this sketch! I am also going to enter my card into the Creative Inspirations challenge and The stamp Man Challenge as they have let loose and the theme is "Anything Goes" for both! The spotty paper is from "The big one" by Clare Curd which i have had in my stash since it was released and still not even nearly finished it all! I embossed the white layer with my Cuttlebug floral folder. The flowers were cut from my Cricut using the Plantin Schoolbook cart and the leaves are from the Story book cart. I used some gems and ribbon from my stash to finish it off.
Here is the challenges i have entered my card into!
