Crafty Calendar Challenge - White Christmas

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. As i write this post we have heavy snow falling outside, its been falling since around 9pm and looks like near a couple of inches and still coming! Because of the snowfall we have had the past few years the schools all have "Severe Weather Procedures" arranged so the kids have online course work and communication via email/internet. We live in a small village so the high schools are about 5/6miles away which mean kids going on the bus run but in bad weather they stop running.
We have also been getting ready for Christmas this weekend. We have got the tree up and got all our Christmas ornaments out. I love sitting in the quiet with the tree lights and some candles on! Bliss!

Anyway enough snow talk! I am here with my card for Crafty Calendar Challenge! The theme this time   is "White Christmas" (very appropriate if i may say so considering the weather we have tonight!)

Here is my card!

I am really loving the new Digi Stamps from Wee Stamps....think i have a "wee" addiction at the moment! This image is called  Angelica. You must check out the other digis over there, they are fab. She is coloured with promarkers and i tried out faux snow using my white pen and glossy accents with white glitter.

My papers are "Home for Christmas" from Papermania with kraft cardstock.
The dies used are spellbinders scalloped circles, snowflake and mistletoe vine is cut from my Cricut Expression with Potpourri Cartridge.
Flowers from Wild Orchid Craft, ribbon, jute and charm from stash and                                                       sentiment was in a freebie with a magazine i think.

Thats me for now. I have not had much sleep tonight, well none so far and its 5am. Still fighting with this illness and lack of sleep is getting to me.
Please pop over to Crafty Calendar Challenge, check out the girls DT cards and let us see your White Christmas projects....we love to see your creations and you might even be the winner of our prize from Crafty Sentiments!

Have a great Monday!

Traditional Tilda!

This is my latest attempt at playing along with some challenges! The Challenge over at Crafty Emmas Store Challenge is to create a tag, the tag shape is cut from my Cricut Plantin Schoolbook. The papers are from a Papermania pack that i bought recently and the white mat was embossed through my Cuttlebug with the snowflakes folder. The colour scheme fits with the Totally Tilda challenge which is traditional Xmas green and red. I coloured Tilda in using my Promarkers and used glossy accents and glitter to sparkle her up a bit.  Over at Papertake Weekly the challenge is 3 of a kind so i have used 3 gems on each layer to finish the tag off. My sentiment was cut from my Cricut Wild Card Cartridge. I have also played along with A Spoonful Of Sugar challenge which is Winter Wonderland.

Here is a list of the challenge blogs that i have entered!

Christmas Tilda.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday. Heres what i made today for the CES Challenge which is to make a Christmas Easel card. I have also played along with Just Magnolias Sketch for this week. Its a lovely sketch   to work with. The papers i used is DCWV Rose Tinted Christmas that i had left over from last year. I think i will buy some more this year cos some of the papers are great for girly xmas cards.
I coloured my Candy Cane Tilda using promarkers. I have embossed the circle and the bottom of the easel card using my cuttlebug and snowflake folder. The snowflakes are cut from my potpourri cartridge. This is one of my favourite cuts on this cartridge, just that bit different from my other snowflake dies is have.
The sentiment is from a pack of xmas sentiments that i bought a few weeks back. As usual i have added a few gems to finish off.
Again my picture quality aint that great, sorry!
Heres the link to the challenges i have entered today.
