My Favourite Colour.....well this week!

Hi, Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. At last i finished painting the stairs and hall way, it took me weeks cos i started it then just have not felt well enough to finish it but i had to do it today...was really annoying me half done!

My card tonight is for the LOTV challenge which is "My Favourite Colours". I decided to go with my old faithful colour..pink.  The image is one of my favourites and have coloured her with promarkers. To add shine to her wings i have added glossy accents and glamour dust. My papers are doodlebug and Slice. The slice paper is full of glitter and shine and very slightly embossed. My flowers are Wild Orchid and Papermania and the leaves are a cricut cut from the pot pourri basket cartridge. I have also added a few stems with crystals on at each side of the flowers. To add a bit more shine i added gems and a hat pin. The ribbon was found at the bottom of my ribbon box...think its a never ending box and the ribbon seems to multiply every time i open it!!

White Christmas!

Hi, Another late night! Today we had our first flutter of snow. It never came to anything but it definitely did snow! My card for tonight is all about snow! The Crafty Calender Challenge this month is "Winter Snowflakes and Crafts and Me Challenge is "Dreaming of a White Xmas". The card is a step card as you can see and i have used my snowflakes embossing folder to emboss the 2 layers on the base card. The image i have used it from LOTV and i just love it! I have coloured it in with my Promarkers. I have left most of it white obviously and used my grey shades to give shadows etc but you can hardly see it on the picture. The snowflakes are from my Cricut Potpouri cartridge and i have layered them up 3 times and used 3d foam pads to add depth. The charm, ribbon and pins just finish the card off and i added a little glitter to the smallest snowflakes. I have entered the Tip Top Tuesday challenge, they are looking for "Layer upon Layer"so this card fits in with that. Halloween's Coming!

Here is my Halloween treat bag that i made today. I thought i had a Halloween Tilda stamp in my collection but i couldnt find it so i had to just used this one and coloured her in with Promarkers and used colours to suit the theme. I made the bag from a cut from my Cricut Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge. Its a lovely shape, just that bit different. The sentiment was cut from my Wild Card Cart aswell as the bats. I used a touch of glossy accents on the bats and sprinkle with glamour dust. This was such a easy make and my daughter just loved it! She has took it already and has a few sweets in the bottom!
