Crafty Calendar Challenge - Love and Marriage!

Hi, Well its been a while since i posted. Before i go onto the challenge details i just want to say thank you for the lovely emails i have received wishing me well and a quick recovery!
I was in hospital again for another week this time. I was climbing the walls but we seem to have my blood count heading in the right direction and stable. The down side is that the very treatment that is keeping everything settled is causing so many other problems. I cant win! I have to attend the Day Care Unit twice weekly for the time being for blood test and a review by my Consultant. The care i have been given so far is just first class. The nurses that work on the ward i was on just never stopped and nothing was too much trouble. They deserve double the salary, that for sure!

Over at Crafty Calendar we have just kicked off the next challenge. The theme is..
Love and Marriage with the OPTIONAL EXTRA of Lace and Pearls!

This month we have a brand new sponsor for you....the very talented Heather Ellis

The winner will win 3 images of your choice from Heather Ellis's Etsy store or Website

Crafty Calendar Challenge - New News!

Happy New Year! This is my first post of the year as its been a busy few weeks. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We had a great time but Carrie was ill from Christmas Eve and it lasted for over a week. I thought she was never going to get better! It was such a shame, once she had opened all her presents she just lay up and hardly touched a thing for days! Her stocking was untouched, The Little Mix cd that she "had to have" lay in its case and her dolls hardly got a look in. When Carrie gets ill, she really gets ill because of her being on the immune suppressants. She just doesn't have anything to fight it off. She is much better now and almost back to her normal self.

Anyway onto why i am here. Its time for the new challenge over at Crafty Calendar to start.
This month we are looking for your
"NEW NEWS"  -New baby, job, home...anything new!

Elphine House Australia Challenge - Around We Go!

Welcome to the last challenge of 2011 from Elphine House Australia!

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas! Today the weather here is awful, we have strong winds and rain. Just miserable. Its certainly a day for crafting!

So onto the challenge. Over at EHA the challenge this time is "Around we go". We are looking for projects with circles somewhere on there. Whether it a round card, or round mats and backgrounds, circular sentiments...you decide. As always you can use any Elisabeth Bell image from any Company. There are hundreds of EB fans out there so pop by and join in our last challenge of the year!!
For my project i have made a circular calendar using one of my favourite images of all time..."Dasiy".  I coloured her using Distress Inks. You can buy her here at the Elphine House Australia Store.
Here she is close up.

I used My Minds Eye paper for the top circle layer and the die circles are my Marianne design die. This was a very quick make but worked out great. The ribbon and gems were from my stash and the calendar is from Hobbycraft.

I would like to enter my calendar into the following challenges also,

My Mums Craft Shop - Anything Goes
The Paper Shelter - Tied Bows
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Thats it from me tonight. I wish you all lots of love and wishes for 2012! I do hope you can pop by and join in our challenge!
