Good morning, i have bee trying to post this since last night...not sure if there was something up with blogger but it kept saying i couldnt upload photos because i needed the proper licence or something??
Anyway here all fine now. I decided to make a box to hold chocolates for the kids to give to my mum.
Its actually a slider box and the whole sleeve slides of and leaves the plain pink box. Worked out great and just as i planned.
The image is one of the hAnglar stamps i found trailing the net. She is lovely, i love these stamps so i am on a mission to get a lot more...so hard to get though. I coloured her in with Promarkers. On her heart i used glossy accents and glitter, as well as on her bows in her hair etc.
The flowers are handmade and the leaves/vines are from the potpourri cartridge. I have not used that cut before but its quite nice with the swirls on there too.
The paper is a Bo Bunny one i think, dont quote me on that one! The ribbons down each side has been pleated by used a run of double sided tape and then just folded it in as i went. To be honest i thought it would be quicker than sewing it the gathering it up but it wasnt! The edges are punched with my MS punch.
Heres is a front on view.
The sentiment was a free one from Birds Cards. I just found this blog the other day and its fab, she has cutting files on there too! Lots of great stuff!
Here is the challenges i am entering with this choc box;
http://promarkerchallenge.blogspot.com/ - All you need is Love
http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/ - Recipe 1,2,3 (I have used 1 brad, 2 fancy pins, and 3 flowers!)
