Cupcakes...Yummy!!!

Another day, another card! This card was made for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge which is "Not a Square". The base card was cut from my Cricut Wild Card Cartridge and the top scallop was from the Story Book Cartridge. The cupcake paper is from Trimcraft. I love the colours of these papers.The image is from LOTV and one of my favourites, very cute! I have coloured the image with promarkers. I am also playing along with "Fab n Funky challenge which is Yummy, Yummy, Yummy and "I Love Promarkers" challenge which is Cupcakes. Papercutz challenge is Anything goes this week so i have entered the challenge there! The flowers, ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Seeing Double!

This is just a quick post to my card for a few challenges that are about this week. The first challenge i am playing along with is the Just Magnolia Challenge. The challenge over there is 2x2 (2 of everything!) As you can see i have used 2 flowers and leafs twice, 2 sets of 2 gems, 2 DP's, and 2 charms. The charms are recycled from older cards that i have not given to anyone! It was harder than i thought using 2 of everything! The papers are from Bo Bunny and are scraps pieces that i had left over from other cards i made. I also used scrap cardstock from my scrap box that sits at my feet as i craft away. The Passion for Promarkers challenge is Recycled so i hope that all my scraps and old charms count! The colour theme of pink is fitting with two other challenges, I love Promarkers and Lets Craft and create. The image is coloured with Promarkers and the image of Tilda is fitting with the challenge over at Crafty Catz. The sentiment was cut from my Cricut Wild Card Cart and i sparkled it up a bit with glossy accents and glitter. I have also entered the card into the challenge at Craftalicious as the challenge is "Anything Goes".

This is the list of links to the Challenge blogs that i have played along with today;

One For The Guys!

Its been a week or so since my last card, well for on here anyway. I had a few orders for friends and family to get done. This happens to be one of them but i used the sketch for the Mojo Monday Challenge. The blue paper has been run through my cuttle bug with the swiss dots folder. The sentiment was cut from my Wild Card Cricut Cartridge and the "80" from the  Plantin Schoolbook. The charm is a tiny little trowel garden tool, you cant go wrong with something like that can you!! I added some silver card candy to finish it off. I am also entering the card into The Corrosive Challenge who are looking for "One for the Guys". I really find masculine cards hard to make so i tend to keep it very simple as you can see!!

Here are links to the two challenges i have entered;

Winter Wonderland - Tag it!

Well, 2 posts in one day, thats not usual! As i was having a look around my blog list i noticed that Winter Wonderlands new challenge is to make a Christmas tag. I couldnt resist so the ironing pile has been dumped back into the cupboard and out came the craft mat! If i keep doing that we will actually have nothing to wear!
Tags is something i never have really been into so i kept it quite simple. I cut the tag using my Cricut with the Plantin schoolbook cartridge. The "Merry Christmas" was cut using my Cricut wild card cartridge and the snowflake from the potpourri basket cartridge. I embossed the white top layer with the cuttlebug snowflakes folder. The sentiment and snowflake are coated with Glossy Accents and MS glitter, i use these two products all the time, couldnt do without them! I layered up the snowflake to add some depth. The little charm was given to me from my friend and it is actually from last years Christmas crackers!! As my kids keep telling me.. Re-use and Recycle! It is also just made from scraps of cardstock that i keep. I hate to waste anything these days! The challenge at Creative Inspirations is "recycle" so will enter into that challenge too!
Here is the links the the Challenge Blogs i have entered;

I was about to say goodnight but its officially good morning now, fingers crossed i sleep tonight!
Thanks for having a peek!

Birthday Card (Cricut)

Here is the Birthday card i was asked to make for someone. I used my Cricut Plantin schoolbook cart for the numbers. I really love the shadow function on a lot of the carts, it really just finishes of the image. i used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder for the front panel and black and silver card that i found among my papers. The black gems and black ribbon are great for masculine cards because they dont look to bling or girly!

Inside the card i cut the Happy Birthday sentiment using my Wild Card Cart and swirl from Storybook. The scallop borders were made from my Fiskars border punch. Again i have finished off the numbers and the swirl by using Glossy Accents and sprinkling with Martha Stewart glitters.

Another easel card! (cricut)

Well the last few days have been so busy. I have been shopping for all the rest of our holiday bits and pieces. I did of course have to add to my stash while at the shops and have also had to buy more and more storage boxes for it all..not sure where its all came from!
This card is one i was asked to make for someone. I have used my wild card cartridge for the sentiment, storybook and my nesties for the scallop circle and marquee shape. The square panel behind is embossed using the cuttlebug swiss dots folder.  I made the flowers using my plantin schoolbook and border was cut using my fiskers threading scallop punch. The swrils are a sizzix die i found in my drawer of tricks!I used some lovely pearls and ribbon and a butterfly charm from my stash to finish it off and of course my old faithful Glossy Accents to bling bits of it up! I really like making easel cards at the moment...good for quick makes and something different!
I have a few fathers day cards to make and a male birthday card on order for friends so will need to get these made tomorrow then i will get back into doing some challenges!

Have a good day!

Totally Gorjuss - Challenge #33 - Sketch
Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog - Challenge #3 - Its Your Day..
The Corrosive Challenge  - Challenge #67 - Die Cuts

For this card i followed the sketch on Totally Gorjuss. The paper is from Bo Bunny and i used the cuttlebug to emboss the white background.The stamp is Midsummer Tilda coloured by pro markers. I used my Nestabilites to cut the scallop circle and my Cricut Wild Card Cartridge to cut the sentiment. Storybook and Plantin Schoolbook Carts were used for the flowers and branches. The pearls and ribbon finished it off.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #26
Here is my first try at any challenge! I have been reading the blog for a while and i find all the cards so inspiring.  My Sons teacher is leaving this week so he wanted a card to give her so i combined that with the challenge. I have used brads on the flowers and eyelets around the edge and to put the ribbon through. I used the Wild Card cartridge for the card base, circle layers and the phrase.  Plantin Schoolbook/Wild Card was used for the flowers. The pictures not great, the phrase is cut in white glittered cardstock.
Thanks for taking the time to look!

Fathers Day Card

Here is the fathers day card that i put together using the Wild Card Cartridge. I used Glossy Accents on the sentiment and sprinkled with black and a touch of clear glitter then added a little watering can charm too just to finish off.

Just a Note!

I made this card using the Wild Card Cartridge. Its a nice quick make for those last minute cards! I have also started one in blue/ black/white that will be good for fathers day or male birthdays. The wild card cart is great for all those quick makes but usually i tend to use all the elements separate and add to my own designs giving hundreds of options.
