Craft Us Crazy Challenge - Fathers Day/Masculine Colours

Hi there, This is a late post and just a short one as i am not keeping so well this week. I am on doctors orders to have my feet up due to swelling legs, feet and abdomen. The most obvious cause is my Kidney disease so got blood tests tomorrow. fingers crossed all is ok!

Anyway on with the details for the new Craft Us Crzy Challenge!

The winner of of the challenge will be given 4 images of your choice.

For my card i used one of my Hanglar images. He is coloured with Promarkers.

The papers are MME lost and found and Kraft card. All the edges are inked with Old Paper distress ink.

I have used Bakers twine from WOC and a Tim Holtz ticket again inked in the same ink as DPs.

I used MME buttons and a little bronzed button on the twine.

I am going to enter my card into Lovely Hanglar Only Challenge which has a great a sketch this week to follow!

Craft Us Crazy Challenge - Something New and your favourite Embellishment!!

Good morning! Here we are again, time for a new challenge at Craft Us Crazy! Where did the last 2 weeks go!? Once again our last challenge had a massive amount of entries and the standard of work is just amazing! Well Done you talented lot!!

Now for the new challenge! This time around we want to see....

....Your favourite Embellishment and/or Something new!

This might be a new stamp or papers, or a new baby, new home...You decide! Also let us see your old faithful embellishments that you cant do without!

Here is my card for the challenge. As you can see i have went with a New baby and have also used all my favourite embellishments too! Flowers, charm on a chain, buttons, and swirls! I have used "Little Dumpling" image from Digital Delights . What a cutie he is!

I have paper pieced the baby's shoes, nappy and bib. You can see this more clear in the picture below. The rest of him was coloured with promarkers. All the papers are from Nitwits, In the Meadow Solids and In the Meadow Too. I had got some of these papers free with a magazine but i bought a set once i used them all. I love the textured look on these. My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the swirl is my Marianne design die and the rest is from my stash. Oh and the sentiment was computer generated and printed off.

Craft US Crazy Challenge DT Card - Flowers or Mothers Day!

Hi, Sorry i am running a bit late with this post....intended to go out for a hours early this morning and never made until 5.30! If you want to know how to waste a day dittering around craft shops i'm the person to ask!

Anyway i am here to tell you about the new Craft Us Crazy challenge that started today! The theme this time round is Mothers Day or Flowers. I know us here in the Uk have already celebrated mothers day so you can just get those flowers out and show us what you can do!

Now onto my card. Meljens generously donated a image to the DT for us to use for the challenge. I decided on this baby image and use it as a "mums First Mothers Day" card. The image was coloured with promarkers. The papers were just loose ones that i had lying in my drawer waiting to be used! The flowers are WOC, Sizzix Die for the Swirls, Seam binding also from WOC and the rest my supplies are out my stash. The sentiment was computer generated.

I must not forget to mention the Monthly Sponspr this month which is The Cutting cafe!

The top 3 from each challenge this month will be put into a draw and one of them will win a fab prize from The Cutting Cafe!

Craft us Crazy Challenge - Thinking of you sentiment/animals!

Hi, hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far! I am so sorry that this post is late but i was away for 5 days in the caravan and had a post schedules but its gone missing in cyber space! 

Anyway there is a new challenge up at Craft Us Crazy this week! The theme this time round is...

Thinking of You sentiment and/or animals

We have got Robyns Fetish sponsoring us for this challenge and donating a fab prize of 5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 paper set! The DT were also generously provided with a image to use from the store..you must pop over ans have a look here!

What fab prizes! Anyway onto my DT card for the challenge. As i said before we were given a fab image to use from Robyns fetish and i have used "Bunny With Parasol". Such a adorable image!

I used my MS punch around the page set to create the topper part of the card and also the border along the bottom. The paper is one i have had in my stash for a while so not at all sure what its called. The flowers are from WOC as always and the swirl is my Marianne Design die. My image is coloured with Promarkers and  have added a little glossy accents here and there. The sentiment is a personal expressions clear stamp from a set and the rest of the materials used are from my stash.
