Hiya! I hope you had a great weekend! We had such a lovely sunny day here in Scotland today.
David got the grass all cut, strimmed and the little drop of weeds that needed seeing to pulled out. The garden now looks great. Was also great to get the washing out on the line...dont you love the smell when its been out!!?
This card i have to share tonight is one that a friend asked me to make for her daughter. I wasnt sure what image to use but as i went through my drawer of Elisabeth Bell stamps this cutie was screaming to be inked up. She was a Belles 'n' Whistles stamp called "Little Eden with Teddy". I have quite a few of the Eden stamps and love them all.
I have spent a lot of time colouring this one as i wanted to use only my Polychromos Pencils. I usually colour a base first with Promarkers but this time i just went for it with my Poly's. There are some areas that i am not so pleased with but on the whole i am pretty happy with it.
Materials
Image - Coloured with Polychromos using Sansodor for blending
Papers - Not sure where i go this...had a pile of these forever!!
Dies - Sizzix thinlets - Fancy Doily & Border. Spellbinders Classic Circle & Heart, Memory Box Vivienne Butterfly, Fanciful Butterflies and also Marianne Design Flourishes.
Embellishments - Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. The Lace, Tulle and Small Gems from Hobbycraft. Feathers and Checked Ribbon and Lrg Diamonte from Country Baskets.
