Watching the world go by!

Hi, Hope your all had a great weekend! I have had a lazy few days..nothing new since i am not well enough yet to do much! Getting fed up feeling rotten every day. I would love to wake up one morning and be feeling slightly better! Thank God for my card making...it really does keep me sane!

Anyway enough moaning!!Here is a card i just made for the pure fun of it today. I was sorting out my stamp collection the other day and found a few Sarah Kay ones that i had forgot i had to be honest! How could you forget about this one though, it was my favourite when i got it! She is just standing watching the world go by!!

I had a go at making my own Tulle corsage. was easy as pie! I just cut different size circles, gathered them in  and glued onto a small to help keeps its ruffles then put my bead etc in the middle. I found this tutorial on Pinterest..which i am currently addicted too! Pinterest is such a simple concept but highly addictive i think!
 You can find anything and everything on the boards!

Anyway back to my card..here is the recipe;

At All Angles!

Happy Easter to you all! I hope you have had fun rolling your eggs and eating lots of chocolate!
Easter bunny came to me and brought me a lovely Thorntons egg, looks too fancy to eat... but not sure how long it will last looking fancy!

Well today i have another card that i have just made for the fun off it. I used my Sarah Kay "Spring is Back" stamp. I love this stamp, its lovely to colour and i have a thing for images where the character is facing away...not sure why! I have coloured her with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.
The sketch i have followed is from Crafting Lifes Pieces Monthly Sketch. I love Chelsea's sketches, this one is no different, just really great to follow and dress it up! I have kind of left it quite plain but i have, as i always seem to do, have the layers at all angles. I seem to find it hard just to leave layers and mats straight ...before i know it i have them all stuck down at slight angles!

Here is the recipe!
Image - Sarah Kay - Spring is back
Papers - Authentique "uncommon", Tim Holtz Core-dinations.
Dies - Tim Holtz vintage lace die, leaves from Cricut Plantin School book.
Embellishements - Handmade flowers spritz with perfect pearls, ribbons, charm and gems from stash.
Sentiment - from Crafters Companion Beatrix Potter Sentiment Stamp Set.

Here is a close up of the image.

As well as the CLP Sketch challenge as mentioned above i am also going to enter my card into the following challenges ;

Hiding In My Craft Room - Colour Challenge
Stempelsonnen Challenge - Happy Birthday with punches/dies and a stamped image.

Thanks for having a look at my card i am now off to have a look around Pinterest....its a bit addictive! Spent hours on there the other day just looking at crafty inspiration and storage ideas!

Have a good night and enjoy your Sunday lie in..if your lucky enough that is!!

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Egg-stra Special and a DT Call!

Good Morning! Hope your all having a lovely Easter weekend.

I am having a crafty day today. David is off so i am going to try and clear our some of my drawers of stash. My ribbon box is in a right old mess and my drawer with all my tools, such as knifes, pliers, pokey tools, rulers etc is also a bit of mess. Thing is when i start to tidy i seem to get distracted with stash i find and end up abandoning the tidy up to craft!
I am considering selling my Cricut Expression with all the cartridges and buying a Grand Calibur with the sale money. I am a bit worried i will miss my Cricut but i hardly use it and i know i will use the Calibur all the time. Any advice would be grateful!

Anyway back to business! Its time for another Crafty Calendar Challenge!
This challenge is all about creating something Egg-stra Special with optional extra of "more than one fold."
Anything egg related counts, doesnt have to be Easter related. You could give us a recipe card, dinosaur egg related, birds nest, chickens...you decide.

I decided to make a little treat bag with mini eggs in it!..yum..yes its now a empty treat bag! I only meant to eat one or two and when i put my hand back in to get another they were all gone! I dont know how that happened..lol!
Treat Bag Recipe
For the actual bag i used a small cello card display bag. Works perfect.
Image - Tilda in her egg coloured with Promakers and Flexmarkers.
Dies/punches - Scallop circle Nestie, Martha Stewart lattice punch, Marianne Design various flourishes.
Embellishments - Ribbon, tulle and button from stash and flowers from Wild Orchid Craft.

I am also going to enter into the following challenges;
CRAFT Challenge - Easter/spring
Fairy Tale - Anything Goes
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - I Want Candy!
Just Inspirational Challenge - Picture inspiration.

I hope you can pop over to Crafty Calendar Challenge and show us your egg-stra special creations!
I hope you all enjoy climbing those hills tomorrow to roll your eggs!
