Elphine House Australia Challenge - Get Well!!

I cant believe its been two weeks since our "Welcome Back Daisy in Fall" challenge.
I have been trying to get this posted from yesterday but had a few problems with Blogger...dont know if it was just me or is others having problems??

Anyway the new Elphine House Australia challenge is up and going and this time the theme is...
Get Well
I bet we all know someone that has flu or a bad cold, sore throat or the winter sickness bug. Why not cheer them up with a card or a gift..or anything handmade project you like.
You can use ANY ELISABETH BELL IMAGE...it doesnt have to be a Elphine House Australia stamp but if you have one we would love to see what you do with it!

On my card i used Nursing Boo Boo, who i love and you can get her here.

I have found my new and latest addition to my "cant be without" tool! When i was at the Hobbycraft show i was watching a demo from the girls at Inkylicious and they were using there Ink Dusters brushes. You can use them to cover large areas of your card but also is great for just edging just like a blending tool does but it is way much easier and gives a really even coating. With my blending tool i sometimes get areas where the ink is uneven...i have been using the Ink Dusters since getting them and its been perfect everytime. Will never go back and have ordered more. I would say that these were one of the "hot" selling items at the show last week. Everyone that saw the demo were picking them up! I used them to ink the edges on this card.
Card Recipe ;
Image ; Nursing Boo Boo from Elphine House Australia
Card/Papers ; White & pink cardstock and Fanciful Pink Dots form Paper Adventures
Pink and Yellow checked one from Papermania Sweet Nothings - all machine stitched.
Large flourish - Little Claires flourish die
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts
Lace and ribbon - Hobbycraft
Charm and chain - Totally Beads
Gems - e-bay

I would also like to enter the following challenges ;
Desert Island Crafts - 3 things off list - Bling, Stitching and Lace
Craft Your Passion - Bingo - Flowers, Free, bling.
The Ribbon Carousel challenge - Anything Goes (using something off a spool)

Well thats it for me tonight. I hope you can join in with us at  Elphine House Australia challenge blog and i look forward to your Get Well creations.

My Memories Givaway and discount!!

FANCY WINNING YOUR VERY OWN COPY OF "MY MEMORIES SCRAPBOOKING SUITE" AND DISCOUNTS FROM THE STORE....READ ON....
Hi, Hope your all having a lovely weekend. I am here today to show you what i have been up to this week.
I was asked to review My Memories Digital Scrapbooking Suite. Now those of you who know me will know i have never been into scrapbooking whether it be digital or not, but i tell you what...i am totally surprised and now hooked.
 This software is absolutely brilliant. Easy to use with so many features. There are also many ways in which to use this software, its not just good for scrapbooking but also, cards either digital or printing seperate elements out and using them on your cards, photobooks, calenders, add movies to projects, turn your creations into DVD's..the list goes on!!!
 One of the things i loved about it is that you can make your very own fabby blog headers and making layouts using my favourite hand stamped and hand coloured images. I use a different photo editing application to get the images ready to use but this was also easier than i thought and only took 5 mins. Maybe i will do a tutorial on this one day as i know we would all love having our favourite stamped images up on our blog headers. I also found it great for creating watermarks, editing photos for displaying on our blogs and even to design sketches for cards. These are the things that i will use a lot! Oh i also made little design for my stickers that i use on my cards.

I have made a few projects using the software. Below is a layout i created myself from a blank page which i had great fun doing but adding all the embellishments, papers and elements which is just a case of dragging and dropping and adding a Elphine House Australia image, Laura; Flower girl.
Then i had a go at creating my own blog headers. These were also simple and again used my own images from Elphine House Australia along with all the lovely embellishments already on the software. What i find great is that you dont need to buy anything else to get started. There are a huge amount of embellishments, papers and backgrounds. Some are set into themes such as babies, birthdays etc. You can also use digi papers and upload other digi goodies to use along side the software.
There is also a massive amount of freebies to download in the My Memories Store but also has full designer packs from prices that are so cheap. You can get them from $0.99 which is 61p!

Right onto the details! I have been given a copy of My Memories Scrapbooking Suite to give away to one of my followers.

You can find Daisy to buy over at the Elphine House Australia Store!
You wil also find us on facebook where you can show us your creation using your Elphine House Australia Stamps
For my card i used Bo Bunny papers and MME Lost and found papers. I coloured Dasiy with Promarkers and inked the edges with Old Paper Distress ink.
