A Different Shape @ Cute Card Thursday!

Hello! Here i am at last! I was hoping to post this card this morning but i have had a rotten day. I was feeling    really quite bad...worse than my normal bad days but feeling a bit more human now. I have to get B12 injections to try and help pick me blood up a bit and in turn hopefully make me feel a bit better. If it does then i will be staying on them long term. Something so simple but just hope it works.

Anyway onto my card. Today its time for another Cute Card Thursday Challenge. I have had the privilege of being a Guest Designer this month and what a fab experience it is!
This week the theme is ...
A Different Shape!
We want to see all those gorgeous shaped creations!

Love Letter Mermaid!

Hope your having a good start to the week. I have just popped on to post the card i made a few days ago. I bought this image from Hannah Lynn's Etsy Store. Her images are just amazing. I really enjoy colouring the hair on these images, its a great way to practice shading too!
This image is called Love Letter Mermaid

As always i have used my favourite My Minds Eyes papers with Kraft cardstock which i embossed.
I made the tulle flower myself with cutting circles of tulle, a few stitches to gather it slightly and then popped a brad through to secure it. I also am gutted to have used my very last bit of my favourite gathered lace along with some organza ribbon..i will have to get online to find some similar as the shop i bought it from has closed. Just another excuse to spend more money!!

Another few views of my card..

I have entered my card into the following challenges,
Lollypop Crafts - 2 different punches/dies (Spellbinders Label Die for card base and TH vintage lace die)
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Shaped Card
The Squirrel and the Fox - Anything Goes

I am now off to relax and catch up on some programs that i have on the Sky +!
Have a great night!

Crafty Calendar Challenge - Browns and Creams

At last i am back with a card. Its been well nearly 2 weeks since i was last here. Its been a real busy and tiring week. I am still struggling with this illness and its getting tougher and tougher to deal with as time goes on...things are getting worse, not better. Looks like i have to have another Bone Marrow Biopsy to see if things have changed any. I can hardly keep my eyes open when i sit down, never known exhaustion like this!

Anyway my card today is for the new challenge over at Crafty Calendar.
This month we are having a colour challenge...Browns and Creams and also the optional extra of using/making a tag.

I decided to give my card and image a Sepia look. I have seen it lots over blogland so wanted to give it a go.
I used very few promarkers to keep layering for a deeper colour.  The colours i used were Satin, Pastel beige, caramel and just a touch of cocoa.  I really enjoy just sitting colouring, so relaxing!
